How to Get Started

It can be difficult to know where to begin when you first start considering a safari. A good starting point is to look at when you can travel, or, if you have the flexibility, when you would need to travel to see what you are interested in.

You’ll also need to tackle the thorny issue of price. We’ll need to know a rough budget, not because we’ll try to get you to spend all your hard earned money, but because there is such variety that your budget will dramatically effect the suggestions we make to you. Please fill out the form for us to better understand what you are looking for in a trip and then we will be in touch with you to discuss our prices.

You can also look at where you could go on safari, but it can be very helpful to ask yourself a few of the following questions as these will begin to direct the shape of your itinerary:

Do I want to stay under canvas, or in a stone or brick lodge?

Do I want a private vehicle and guide, or am I happy to go with a group? What sorts of activities would I like to take part in on safari?

Of course there will be lots of other things you’ll want to consider, but answering some of these questions will help you get the ball rolling.

To help you through this process we have prepared a form with questions that will help us prepare a suggested itinerary.

Check out the FAQ’s page, this may help with some of your questions and answers.
