Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

You will be picked from your accommodation in Arusha and start the safari heading to Lake Manyara one of the most dramatically located wildlife areas consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake at the foot of Great Rift Valley’s escarpment. It’s the park with the highest biomass densities of large mammals in the world and the famous place for its tree-climbing lions, if lucky you can spot them up there. From the entrance gate, the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundreds of baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside. Blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy. Between November and April, thousands of greater and lesser pink flamingos gather on its shores, along with pink-backed pelicans, yellow-billed storks, grey herons, and pods of hippos.
Later you will go for an overnight stay in your accommodations.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

This day is dedicated to the full game viewing in central Serengeti Park. The great diversity of Serengeti wildlife is evident here, with enough time to look for buffalo, hippopotami, elephants, giraffes, antelope, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelle, and lions. Everywhere there are animals, monkeys, and, yes, birds…but look closely and you will be thrilled to see the huge jungle cats—lion, leopard, and cheetah—watching the world go by. And go by it does. Rhino, gazelle, antelope, and massive elephants by the hundreds. Animals in the trees, flying, camouflaged in the bush, in rivers, and streams. This is the adventure of a lifetime! Morning game drives are recommended.
After a full-day drive through the Serengeti central plains, you will head back to your camp for evening leisure.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will drive back to Ngorongoro Crater, the best place to see Big Five animals. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with local Maasai people. The Ngorongoro Crater provides great game viewing all year round. The wildlife here makes up a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons. The crater supports a variety of animals which include wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, hippo, and giant African elephants. There is also Lake Magadi a large but shallow alkaline lake. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can be seen here. Later you will ascend from the crater and head to your accommodation for evening leisure and an overnight stay.
