OVERVIEW

This 5-day safari allows us to experience the highlights of the Northern safari circuit. We’ll experience breathtaking wildlife in the midst of diverse landscapes; lions in the jungle, elephants amongst the acacias, and a huge variety of animals inside a collapsed volcano. In the true wild, the spectacular grass offers plain game viewing animals like cheetah, leopard and lion.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will pick you up and transfer you for an hour drive to Arusha for an overnight stay. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax in your accommodation or add any optional activities around the city like, city tour, village visit, coffee tour, Lake Duluti canoeing or any other area around while waiting for your safari the following day.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Today your safari adventure begins!

You will be picked up from your hotel early after breakfast. On your way to Tarangire National Park, you will enjoy the view of the beautiful nature, landscapes, and local communities. You will enjoy the full-day drive in Tarangire, the park with a large number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. Later, you will proceed to your accommodation for evening leisure and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Discover a Well Known World Wildlife sanctuary

Wake up for the morning breakfast in your accommodation. Later, you will take your picnic lunch and start your safari heading to wild Africa—the Serengeti with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with unlimited game viewing. Apart from the migrating herds, we may see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, plying their rough trade. For bird lovers over 500 bird species have been recorded here including vultures, owls, bustards, cranes and secretary birds. After a wonderful game drive, you will head to your accommodation for an evening leisure dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Final Time in Serengeti National Park

On this day, we will continue with the game drive at Serengeti. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. The park is famous for its migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers. After lunch, we’ll do a game drive while departing to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arriving at the edge, you will have a first glimpse of what awaits you the following day.

Evening leisure, dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge at the crater rim.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservancy ``Chasing for Big Five``

Wake up in the morning for a leisurely breakfast then continue with the game drive at Ngorongoro Conservation Area with its famous Ngorongoro crater for game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. The crater has a unique ecosystem which inhabits more than 25,000 resident animals. Almost every East African savannah animal species can be spotted in the grasslands and acacia forests including the “Big Five” (rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion, and leopard).
Later, you will head back to Arusha with a transfer to the airport for your departure back home or an extension to Zanzibar.
