4-Day Tarangire, Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro – Midrange Safari

After breakfast you will start your safari by visiting Tarangire National Park, the park with high concentration of largest African elephants. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. Animals gather at the life-giving Tarangire River and you should see a selection of mammals ranging from giraffes, bushbucks and hartebeests to the weird-looking gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx. Later in the evening you will return to the lodge for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

Out itinerary will lead us to lake Manyara park, a small but it is diverse in ecosystem with huge variety of animal and birdlife. It is rightly famous for its tree climbing lions and boisterous baboons.

Later in the evening you will drive to Karatu for evening leisure, dinner and overnight in your lodge.

After breakfast you will head to Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest volcano caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site with unique ecosystem that inhabit more than 25,000 resident animals. In the grass and acacia forest you can spot almost every animal species of the East African savanna together with the Big Five animals (rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard). Later on, you will ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha then proceed to the airport in time for your flights back home.
