Day 1: Upon arrival after your long flight, you will be warmly greeted at the airport by our friendly representative alongside an experienced driver-guide. They will introduce you to the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture of Tanzania as they escort you to your accommodation in Arusha. Here, you can unwind and prepare for the exciting adventures ahead. If the weather is clear, your welcome will be made even more spectacular with breathtaking views of Mount Meru and the elusive Mount Kilimanjaro, often referred to as the "shy girl" due to its often cloud-covered peak. This serene start sets the tone for your thrilling nine-day journey from savannah to shore.

Arusha is known as the safari capital of Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
The adventure begins! After an early breakfast at your lodge, set off for Tarangire National Park, renowned for having one of the world's largest concentrations of elephants and a rich diversity of breeding bird species. As you enter the park, be captivated by the majestic and ancient baobab trees that dot the landscape. Named after the Tarangire River that flows through it, the park draws a myriad of animals to its waters. Today, you'll have the opportunity to observe vast herds of elephants, along with giraffes, lions, antelopes, and zebras. You may also spot wildebeest, gazelles, cheetahs, leopards, and the more elusive kudu, oryx, and gerenuk. After a fulfilling day of wildlife viewing, you will head to your next accommodation for a well-deserved rest.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, continue your safari with a drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder of the world. Formed about 2.5 million years ago, Ngorongoro is the result of a massive volcanic eruption that caused the collapse of a large volcano, creating the expansive and unbroken caldera we see today. This site is unique for its cohabitation of humans and wildlife, a phenomenon your experienced driver-guide will elaborate on during your visit.

Inside the crater, the abundant water supports a thriving population of over 25,000 large animals, including elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, hippos, waterbucks, and baboons. With some luck, you may also catch a glimpse of the rare black rhino. After a day filled with exploration and incredible wildlife sightings, you will ascend from the crater and head to your next accommodation for the night.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Rise early for breakfast at your accommodation before departing with a packed lunch for Serengeti National Park, renowned for its expansive, open grasslands that provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. The park's climate and vegetation have remained largely untouched for millions of years, creating a pristine environment for numerous species.

Serengeti is celebrated not only for its diverse wildlife but also for the annual Great Migration. This spectacular event sees vast numbers of wildebeest, along with zebra and antelope, following a perennial journey in search of fresh pastures, dictated by the annual rainfall patterns.

After a comprehensive game drive exploring this iconic park, you will proceed to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the day's adventures under the African sky.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

An early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park is highly recommended today. For an extraordinary start, opt for a hot air balloon ride (additional charges apply). You'll be picked up from your lodge at 5:00 AM, with the balloon taking flight around 6:00 AM. From this unique vantage point, you'll witness the wildlife below as dawn breaks over the vast Serengeti. Upon landing, celebrate with a sumptuous breakfast accompanied by Champagne.

Following this memorable experience, your driver will pick you up to continue exploring Central Serengeti. Known as the heart of the park, this area is teeming with wildlife and is particularly rich in the habitats of the Big Five: elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, and the elusive black rhinos. Bird enthusiasts will also be delighted with the opportunity to spot over 500 bird species, including vultures, owls, bustards, cranes, and the impressive secretary birds. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure.
